The 50th Reunion plans:

Friday, October 21, 2016: Football, CVHS vs Acalanes. (Tickets at the gate.) No-Host get together afterward at the Clayton Club.

Saturday, October 22, 2016: Back Forty Texas BBQ in Pleasant Hill, Dinner and Dancing, $75 per person, which covers everything but your liquor.
[Ed note: This will seem steep, unless you have investigated places and menus for a reunion. If you have, it will seem reasonable.*]

Sunday, October 23, 2016: Open House at Joan (Jennings) Stickney's house in El Cerrito, Noon - 6. She writes: I will supply various salads and beverages, please bring appetizer or dessert and your favorite drink to share and walk the labyrinth or enjoy the view of the Golden Gate Bridge or San Pablo Bay.

* Among other things, restaurants charge more for reunions because the diners don't tip, so they have to pay their waiters more, and they only use the tables once. On a regular night the same table will be used 3 - 4 times. Both facts drive the price up. The reunion committee had expenses, too.
